The Thurman Café is famous for its burgers and it’s always very busy. We tried to eat there many times before, but each time we had to leave because of the ridiculous waiting time. So on a Tuesday morning, we went there again to see if we could get in without waiting for too long. Luckily, we waited for only ten minutes. The café is very old and there are many car plates or old posters on the walls and lots of graffiti on the benches. I guess that’s one way to welcome the customers. Their burgers are mostly around 10 dollars, and its Thurman burger is even 20 bucks. I ordered a sandwich type of burger with a very thick patty which is their signature. It came with chips and a slice of pickle. It was pretty good especially when I could tell that the patty was quite fresh. I am glad we got to try the Thurman Café eventually, but considering its loud surroundings and uncomfortable benches, I probably would trade the patty taste for somewhere with a more comfortable environment.
